I enjoy creating art.  I love expressing beauty in color.  I am a decorative painter, painting in acrylic and oils.  I  discovered lampworking and was amazed to see the countless possibilities to paint with molten glass. Being able to make wearable art in beautiful glass from Italy and Germany is really exciting.  

My goal is to learn more about the glass and what opportunities there are to produce new and beautiful bead designs.  I hope you enjoy the results of this journey with me.

I create the beads in my studio with a torch and they are carefully annealed in a special kiln to ensure many years of enjoyment.  Annealing glass is a process where the glass is brought from a very hot state to a cool state very slowly.  This tempers the glass and makes it strong.
